For more than a century, the American Red Cross has been saving lives with health and safety education programs. You, too, need to be prepared to respond in the event of an emergencyand Red Cross training is a great way to gain the knowledge and skills you may need to save yourself, and others.

Each year, more than 60,000 Oregonians participate in one or more Red Cross education programs. Click on any of the links below to learn how you can join them.

  • Aquatics Programs: Learn to swim, become a lifeguard or ensure the safety of your local pool.
  • Babysitter's Training: Be fully prepared and informed before you accept the responsibility for watching someone elses children.
  • First Aid, CPR & AED Training: Basic emergency and life-saving training that every individual should know, including how to use an automated external defibrillator.
  • Workplace Programs: Learn about the wide range of training classes for your employees and lifesaving equipment you should have on hand.
  • Pet First Aid: Learn what to do if your pet is injured or seriously ill.
