In General

• Remember, your SABA ID is your old LMS ID unless you have created a new account directly in SABA. The default password for records migrated from LMS is Welcome1. Please change it on your first login.
  • For OTC disaster volunteers
• In SABA, online courses are referred to as Web Based
• Web based courses can be located using the Search Catalog on the SABA LMS Home page, using part or all of the Course Name.
• You can find the Course Names and Course IDs for National online (web based) courses on the Chapter Web Page under Disaster Responders | Disaster Training. There is a course list following the Training Calendar. Disaster Course List link. Look for the courses that include (online) in the title.
• Blended Learning (Web Based/Classroom): It apears that you must sign up for the classroom class to gain access to the Web Based portion.

 Specifics

• Locate the correct Course Name on the Disaster Training page in the Class Lists section
• login using your SABA LMS ID
• Enter the Class Name in the Search box on the SABA home page
• The Course will appear in the Learning Offerings table, showing the Delivery Type as "Web Based"
• Click the Register link in the column on the right of the table
• On the  Create Order page click Place Order
  • The Registration Confirmation page appears
  • You can Launch the content directly from this page, or wait till later and access the course through your Enrollments page.
  • When accessing the course through the Enrollments  page, you must first click the + next to the course name. The online content then appears along wtih the Launch link
• It is not currently clear which onine (web based) courses currently have content and are thus usable in SABA. If you are trying to register for an online course and cannot do so, please let the staffing office know at otcstaffing@redcross-pdx.org.
