In preparation for your Emergency Services Orientation, please do the following:

• Obtain a SABA Learning Management System ID and password. Red Cross training is tracked in this online program.
  • Go to https://classes.redcross.org and click on Sign Me Up:
• Review the Volunteer Positions currently available in Emergency Services
  • Opportunity Directory
• Complete the Disaster Services Human Resources (DSHR) application forms (required for all Disaster Responders) and bring them to the Orientation
  • The Forms are located in the Document Library in the DSHR Application Forms section (marked Required).
    • DSHR Application Form
    • Health Status Record
    • Personal Statement of Understanding
    • DSHR Availability form
    • Applicant Data Record
  •  It is not necessary to complete the following sections of the DSHR Application at this time: Red Cross Training, Life Experience Information, Disaster Relief Operation History, Disaster Operation Group and Activity Preference, Red Cross Unit/Chapter Affiliation. However, we do need the information in the following sections:
    • Contact, license, language and affiliation information
    • Emergency Contact
    • Signature and date
  • Checklist
    • System requirements are included on the New Application Checklist, also in the DSHR Application Forms section
